Compliance Administrator

Location: Northwich CW97LN Temporarily working from home

Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week

Salary £18,500

Full Time Permanent

As part of the Compliance Team within RMG you will have to handle enquires on a variety of issues from colleagues, stakeholders, 3rd party contractors and customers. The Officer will ensure that these enquiries, both verbal and written, are responded to in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with RMG policy and procedures.

The role of the Compliance Administrator :

  • Ensure compliance across all system modules and that database is accurately updated in line with RMG policy and procedure.
  • Ensuring that department Service Level Agreements are met both through individual and collaborative efforts.
  • Ensuring that personally agreed objectives are met within specified deadlines.
  • Receive, understand and assess customer / stakeholder / colleague contacts and enquiries to establish requirements for advice, guidance and service / solutions.
  • Produce and process all documentation resulting from customer / stakeholder / colleague enquiries in an accurate and timely manner to ensure the information passes to colleagues responsible for these activities.
  • Make decisions both independently and collaboratively based on reasoned arguments, supported by evidence with a clear business benefit
  • Undertake general project support duties in a timely manner.
  • Completing all further reasonable external or internal requests that come into the department.
  • Develop and maintain all required skills, including a good working experience of relevant software tools and systems to facilitate the efficient delivery of work activities.

Skills & Experience required of the Compliance Administrator :

  • Highly organised, forward thinking, taking a lateral approach to problem solving.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism being polite and courteous to both internal and external parties at all times.
  • Punctual and prepared for all activities and meetings, striving for 100% attendance.
  • Shown to have a proven work ethic; striving to constantly improve personal performance while working towards team objectives.
  • Demonstrate a consistent high level of customer service both internal and external.
  • Experienced in Health and Safety which would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Relevant commercial, compliance and financial understanding would be beneficial
  • Educated to GCSE level
  • Previous administration support experience essential
