Lakeland Leisure Estates Ltd is a family run company with over 30 years? experience in the leisure industry. We currently operate 4 marinas and 2 caravan parks, with our head office based in Staveley, Cumbria.

Your new role:

We're looking for a creative and experienced Marketing Manager, with a keen eye for detail, to support our site managers in driving their site; you'll support them to increase bookings, caravan, lodge and boat sales as well as improve our industry presence. You'll be responsible for a small, creative marketing team who produce interactive campaigns across web, social media, digital ads, print and PR.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Manage, develop and deliver an integrated, cross-channel marketing strategy - you'll have the opportunity to bring fresh ideas to the team.
  • Produce monthly reports on spend, ROI, website traffic, conversion rates, and campaign analysis.
  • Create marketing material and branded content to support the sites.
  • Create engaging social media campaigns, with our Marketing and Content Creator, to drive followers, likes, comments and leads.
  • Ensure that all marketing materials adhere to the brand guidelines, creating consistent content for each site in the group.
  • Maintain and update our company websites with SEO friendly content.
  • Ensure our marketing is GDPR compliant.
  • Design company brochures, flyers, and adverts.
  • Craft and execute promotional email campaigns.
  • Visit our sites to discuss new campaigns with park managers and support photography days.
  • Manage our relationships with third party suppliers, including: web developers, digital ad agencies, photographers, videographers, designers and PR agencies.
  • Write, and delegate, our content writing for web, social media and editorial.
  • Carry out competitor analysis and market research.
  • Develop an understanding of leisure industry trends and make intuitive marketing recommendations.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Creativity and passion for driving cross-channel marketing campaigns.
  • A strong marketing background, leisure industry experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with the Adobe creative suites.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, SEO and PPC.
  • Experience managing campaigns across multiple channels, with successful lead generation.
  • Understanding of GDPR compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Willingness to travel to sites and events across the country.
  • Experience in project management and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent copywriting skills.
  • Fluent spoken and written English with immaculate spelling, grammar and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced and dynamic company.
