Outbound Sales Advisor Full Time

Working on behalf of a leading health insurance company, you will complete outbound calls to warm leads generated via the company's website. The aim of the call is to build rapport with the customer, enquire about their needs and give them any guidance and support they may need, before transferring them to the client's internal sales team.?

This is an Office based role in Sheffield based at Hartshead House, Cutlers Gate (S4) -?Any applicants out of this region will not be considered.

Contracted to 37.5 hours per week.?

10:30am till 19:00pm - Monday to Friday + 1 Saturday per month.?


What?you?ll?be?doing: ?

In this role you will complete outbound calls to potential customers who have been on the?leading health insurance company?website.? The customers may have completed certain parts of the purchasing process but haven?t completed the full sales process.? The aim of your call is to build rapport with the customer, answer any questions and transfer the customer to the?leading health insurance company?website?sales team.? You will qualify the lead and explain some of the benefits of?the?leading health insurance company?website?but you will not be able to advise the customer on their purchase.? Your objective is to qualify the lead and transfer it to the sales team who have the knowledge and experience to identify the right products for the customers needs.? There will be business and household customers to speak to so you will need to adapt your communication styles accordingly.?


  • Completing outbound calls to B2B and B2C customers.?
  • Following the script to qualify the customer to transfer a quality?lead?to the sales team.?
  • Answering any questions accurately that you have the knowledge to.?
  • Deliver an excellent and professional customer experience.?
  • Ensure a smooth and compliant transfer to the sales team.?
  • Follow the complaints handling process when necessary.?

What we?re looking for: ?

  • Customer service experience in call centre or retail (essential).?
  • Experience in a call centre environment (preferred).?
  • Excellent telephone manner.?
  • The ability to follow instructions and scripts to meet with compliance requirements.?
  • Confident and effective communicator.?
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.?
  • Ability to work in a team.?
  • I.T literate.?
