Social Media & Content Manager Full Time

Offpeakluxury are a growing, forward thinking travel brand, specialising in luxury breaks at UK hotels. We are now looking for a social media & content specialist to join our marketing team. This is a work from home position, as we operate a virtual team across the UK, although some travel to meetings and to hotels throughout the UK is anticipated, so a driving license is highly desirable. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate they have a suitable environment for working from home without interruption, although we can be flexible with working hours. Reliable broadband is essential.

The right person will be enthusiastic - yet realistic - about social media, capable, hands-on, organised, and with an entrepreneurial spirit. They will demonstrate excellent creative writing skills, as a key component of the role will be to write about hotels, travel and holidaying in the UK. Experience working in a similar role, either in an agency or client-side, would be useful to demonstrate, although enthusiasm and an ability to communicate are equally important. Of course, you'll need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and faultless grammar.

The company operates four brands and you'll be working across all of them, so the ability to compartmentalise your work and keep organised is an absolute must!

Key Elements of the role include:

  • Social media management - planning and managing social media campaigns, and content updates, according to the company's social media marketing plan, across the four brands.
  • Researching and writing content for the four brands for web, email & social.
  • Content creation; for example, new hotel reports & reviews, company news, competitions, giveaways, engaging with customers on social media.
  • Managing updates for the four brands across multiple social media channels
  • Reporting on Key Performance Indicators
  • Community management & engagement with social media influencers
  • Managing customer reviews.
  • Involvement with the company's paid marketing activities across Google, Facebook, Bing & others.
  • Website copy
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of the brands' websites.

Experience & Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role, in a fast-moving environment
  • Travel industry knowledge & experience would be useful, but passion and willingness to learn is equally important
  • Thorough knowledge of the key social media platforms
  • Fantastic written & verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office & Google cloud-based software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of organic & paid search would be useful, but is not a prerequisite.
  • Accuracy & attention to detail
  • The self-motivation & work ethic to thrive working from home
