Position Title: Marketing Manager

Hours: Flexible hours ? approx. 3 days a week

Responsible to: General Manager

Department: Creative Team

Location: Office-based with some flexibility

Job Purpose

Lead on marketing activity and drive market share growth. In conjunction with the General Manager and Creative Team, the post holder will deliver a coherent marketing strategy and plan that builds the business and drives awareness of the brand, its products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in delivering the marketing strategy and content for CME in partnership with management.
  • Develop engaging, creative and innovative content across all marketing channels.
  • Manage and develop content for social media platforms.
  • Develop and deliver marketing campaigns and materials.
  • Write and proofread creative copy: newsletters, blogs, advertisements, articles etc.
  • Development of short videos for use on the website and across social media.
  • Work closely with the in-house team to oversee the website, including creative content, brochures, SEO optimisation and maximising the customer journey.
  • Source advertising opportunities and place adverts in the press.
  • Develop marketing for trade shows and attend trade shows or events.
  • Work closely with the in-house team to organise and attend photoshoots.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop and execute strategies to win business. * Evaluate and review marketing campaigns, advertising and SEO to make sure the correct mediums are being used and campaigns are effective.
  • Research to identify market trends.
  • Other duties as required that are deemed to be within your capabilities according to business needs.

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • 3 plus years? experience of the full marketing mix, both on and offline.
  • Good understanding and hands-on experience of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
  • Ability to develop and deliver campaigns.
  • Excellent communication skills with both verbal and written language, with experience in editing, checking and copywriting for marketing materials.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Competent user of Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to foster good working relationships.
  • Self-motivated and resilient with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Organised with good time management skills.
  • Interest in working in a B2B product marketing environment.
