Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will be based at the central London HQ, working with all 12 owned and operated markets to drive consumer revenue, specialising on our travel brands.
This role will run both global campaigns and work with marketing teams in each country to support their tactical and strategic communications plans, building audiences, and monetising through print and digital audiences through subscription, memberships, commerce, events, and new go to market products.
Job Description
The Marketing Manager is responsible for delivering global marketing campaigns and initiatives across subscriptions, memberships, commerce, and events for a variety of brands. This role will also ensure best practice in all aspects of marketing whilst providing strategic direction and data/analytics to inform campaigns with focus on subscriptions growth and consumer revenue, to ensure we are delivering successful marketing for all the Condé Nast titles.
The key focus is delivery of consumer revenue growth for global initiatives, as well as forging strong relationships with domestic teams to deliver efficient activation of marketing plans, monitoring analytics and identifying opportunities to build and grow our brands? propositions.
Furthermore the role acts as a liaison for the marketing department with key areas of the company globally (i.e. US Consumer Marketing, CRM, Data & Insights, Business Development) to ensure we are up-to-date on developments/strategy and as a facilitator in keeping the local teams up-skilled in marketing through regular updates.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • To work with the Head of Marketing in delivering global marketing campaigns and initiatives across subscriptions, memberships, commerce, and events for a variety of brands, with a sharp focus on our travel titles

  • Develop the end-to-end strategies for marketing products, experiences, and subscriptions, acquiring and maintaining loyal and long-standing known audiences

  • Assist all global markets with their marketing strategies and activities, driving consumer revenue

  • Identify new opportunities to drive the business forward ? i.e. emerging digital platforms, potential media partnerships, or uncovering general business efficiencies that increase revenue and profitability

  • Building marketing processes, toolkits and best practices in collaboration with individual markets and then rolling them out globally

  • Work directly with the central teams in London and New York HQ to drive marketing strategy and activity for Global initiatives

  • Work with product teams to build and roll out world class digital products, driven by customer insights

  • Work with finance to build business cases for new initiatives, including paywalls and enhanced subscription experiences

  • Identify best practices, working with all markets to ensure consistency, assisting in robust planning

  • Experience driving customer life-time value. This could be through upsell to membership programmes or cross-selling to ecommerce products

  • Experience working in paid media channels ? paid search, social, display and affiliates

  • Experience with CRM, customer life cycle and retention strategies

  • Communication of industry trends, competitive landscapes and new technologies impacting consumer marketing and digital distribution platforms (i.e. Facebook, Google, etc.)

  • Work with all central agencies and vendors, to drive consumer revenue

  • Update teams with market trends, developments and best practices

Essential Skills & Requirements
  • Experience in the travel industry preferred

  • Good understanding of publishing and media industry

  • Excellent communicator

  • Excellent understanding of digital platforms and digital marketing channels, and how to optimise

  • Results driven and strategic

  • Self motivated and resourceful
