Your Coop are looking for a Click & Collect Buyer to join our society. As a Click & Collect Buyer you will be responsible for:

  • Taking full ownership of the Click and Collect project to ensure successful delivery, growth and commercial performance whilst offering a Best in Class experience.
  • Owning the category to drive sales, deliver against targets and report via weekly updates.
  • Be responsible for creating a premium, local online seasonal range.
  • Accountable for cost price negotiation to ensure margin targets are achieved in conjunction with the Direct Sourcing Manager and distribution partners.
  • Ensuring growth of online sales via the review of commercial performance, analysis and by making necessary adjustments to range.
  • Working closely with the Marketing Team to grow the brands online presence in order to launch and support online campaigns. To promote, drive sales and capture new customer and member email addresses.
  • Collect and report on customer feedback in conjunction with the Customer Service Team.
  • Work in conjunction with the Direct Sourcing Team to conduct a Click and Collect Range Review and ensure best practice.
  • Communicate effectively between distributors, suppliers, store and central colleagues to establish and maintain strong business relationships in order to achieve success.
  • Create a seasonal promotional calendar, agreeing and implementing promotions plus working alongside marketing to promote whilst maintaining and managing the supplier Buying Investment Plans (BIPS).
  • Keeping the product information current, managing the removal and additions of products.
  • Investigate and support the various customer shopping missions, including how devices influence the customer and championing the online customer experience with a view to improving conversation and customer satisfaction.
  • Remain current and knowledgeable on competitor online platforms, benchmarking and researching future opportunities.
  • Ensure high levels of productivity and efficiency.
  • Taking personal responsibility for outputs, accuracy and weekly reporting


About You:


To be a successful candidate for this role you will need:

  • Previous experience within food buying

  • Maintains strong and profitable working relationships with external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Analytical and high levels of numeracy and literacy
  • Strong communication skills & ability to communicate effectively at all levels
