Main Tasks of Job:

  • To define the Groups people-related processes and culture that leads to the provision of excellent care in a safe, warm, happy environment that is homely in scale;
  • To carry out administrative tasks to ensure the Group is treating its people well and within the confines of the law;
  • Responsibility for ensuring that appropriate records are maintained for employees that meets best practice including developing and maintaining employee documentation, employee contracts, handbooks, disciplinary and grievance paperwork;
  • To advise the Group on terms and conditions of employment and knowledge share best practice, including GDPR and any changes to legislation or employment law;
  • To develop the Groups HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes;
  • To run an effective and safe rota to the benefit of the residents and company;
  • Monitoring annual leave, sickness, and absences;
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding and offboarding of staff alongside facilitating induction;
  • Helping the manager undertaking staff appraisal and supervisions;
  • To maintain a flexible attitude towards duties and responsibilities, to ensure the efficient working of the team;
  • Ensure good communication and maintain a customer-focused attitude towards duties and to ensure that at all times the needs of all residents are identified and met;
  • Support the manager to undertake disciplinaries;
  • Achieve business targets and support expansion;
  • Support staff wellbeing;

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.

Person Specification:

The successful candidate will be CIPD-qualified (L5/L7) with strong recruitment experience, have excellent communication and ICT skills, plus the ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level.

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
