Care Co Full Time

An opportunity has arisen for a Care Co-Ordinator to join the Aylecare team at our very busy office in Gorseinon. Aylecare is a local family owned business that has been established for over 20 years.

This role will include working alongside carers and senior carer to ensure the scheduling of visits for service users are completed each week in line with their needs and requirements. Ensuring all care packages are managed effectively, such as by conducting assessments and reviews, whilst effectively communicating any changes to the relevant parties. This role will also include liaising with prospective new service users and their family/friends to discuss their needs and setting up their packages of care.

You will also be required to assist with staff supervisions and welfare meetings when required.

Your office hours will be 39 hours per week. You will also participate in an on-call rota (paid in addition to your office hours) as well as providing back up care cover to help ensure all care visits are covered.

You should have good communication skills, able to stay calm, be well organised, and also be able to manage your time effectively. You should also be able to build and maintain rapport with service users, carers and other members of staff.

You would also need to either already have a QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or an equivalent qualification) or the willingness to learn and undertake the QCF through a company provided scheme.

A current driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential.
