Volunteer work Full Time

at St Edmunds Society Norwich in Norwich (Published at 24-05-2021)

· You may be helping in our carpentry, tiling or painting and decorating areas. You may help out in our motor mechanics area if you like working with motorbikes. You may be working alongside out catering tutor. You don't have to be qualified - just keen to help our young people and you might learn as you go along. We will support you to support them.

To support the Tutors in delivery of teaching vocational activities

· Motivate and encourage students in their vocational learning

· Assist with practical work as directed

· Encourage good working practices and to be aware of health and safety

· Maintain tools and equipment as directed

· Wear appropriate PPE as indicated by the lead Tutor

· Assist with break and lunch time cover duties

· Maintain areas to a high standard (tidiness, clean)

· Undertake in-house and other training as required and where appropriate

All volunteers will need DBS clearance which we will support, plus 2 references.

Part-time hours: 3-20 per week
