A Primary School in Manchester are looking to appoint an excellent SEN Primary Teacher, who is passionate about SEND education and improving social, emotional and educational outcomes for primary aged girls and boys in the borough whose needs cannot be effectively met in a mainstream setting.

The role

As an SEN Primary Teacher you will be a creative thinker, resilient, and want to make a difference every day to the students you work with. The ideal SEN Primary Teacher will have either experience of, or a desire to work with primary-aged children who present with SEMH difficulties.

The school

The Manchester primary school caters for children from 7-11 years who have an Education, Health and Care plan (EHCP) for social, emotional and mental health needs. The school understands the importance of staff well-being and is also committed to the professional development of all staff.

Requirements

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for the SEN Primary Teacher position are:

Have Qualified Teacher Status or QTLS

Be able to meet a range of complex needs

Be a positive role model

Promote and support the ethos, vision and culture of the school
