Role Summary and Core Responsibilities


Working within the Tech & Digital team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment you will manage the Data & Insight function. The successful candidate will work closely with senior global stakeholders across the Group to define and evolve the Data & Insight capabilities as we regrow the business, which currently supports over 1800 Travel Counsellors in six countries (UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, South Africa and the UAE).

Your responsibilities will be:


  • Leadership and personal development of the Data and Insight team, a hands-on role in analysis and interpretation where appropriate, and quality control over the output of the team
  • Maintenance, development and integrity of the data systems and governance, ensuring the data is accurate, current and consistent

  • Managing the implementation and development of integrations between the data warehouse and other systems in support of the digital transformation programme

  • Developing a combination of central and functional analysis and insight capabilities and co-ordinating the activities of these resources to maximise their effectiveness and avoid duplication
  • Identifying and addressing any barriers to the delivery of data and insight in support of the business strategy and digital transformation
  • Ensuring timely and accurate data and information are accessible across all functions
  • Ensuring that appropriate BI tools are available to the business and educating the central and functional analysis and insight resources in their use
  • Benchmarking Travel Counsellors performance against the market
  • Demonstrate a passion for and deep knowledge of data analytics as an experienced practitioner


Experience and Qualifications

  • Significant experience in data and insight roles, including leadership and development of a team

  • Highly experienced in data and MI including detailed analysis and modelling

  • Experience with a range of data and insight software including Power BI

  • Ability to interrogate and interpret data in support of commercial objectives

  • Programme management - ability to plan, organise, prioritise effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment

  • Experience of working with
  • Understanding of the regulatory environment and the need for data to comply with GDPR.

  • Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders (ideally in an international environment)
