We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, high levels of emotional intelligence, be proactive, and be able to offer pragmatic solutions.

You should be at least level 5 CIPD qualified and have significant experiences within HR, ideally with a Health and Social Care background.

The HR Manager will provide an effective and efficient HR service ensuring that all information leaving the department is to quality standards and in line with Juventas Services policies and procedures, employment legislation and established HR best practice.

The HR Manager will report to the Head of HR and will develop a close relationship with all departments and the HR and Executive Administrator, to ensure a consistent approach across the organisation.

The HR Manager will also be responsible for the L&D function, including all related admin, facilitate training sessions for managers and delivering HR training sessions. The role will also involve ensuring the effective delivery of HR policies, process and other HR initiatives and contribute to the delivery of a range of HR projects and programmes (for example staff satisfaction surveys, equality and diversity initiatives, health and wellbeing initiatives). You will also be required to submit payroll paperwork and complete general HR administration.

The post holder will be expected to develop and analyse management information (MI) and deliver on KPIs.

Experience and Knowledge

  • Experience of working within Social Care.
  • Experience of working in a generalist HR environment.
  • Significant experience of identifying and developing a range of effective HR processes and systems, ensuring maintenance and improvements.
  • Providing advisory support to formal meetings e.g. hearings and maintaining accurate and detailed records of events.
  • Experience of taking information from a number of sources and provide analysis, summary and options within detailed report information to support employee relations matters.

Relevant Educational or Professional Qualification(s): CIPD level 5 essential. Applicants who do not have this qualification will not be considered.
