Digital Marketing Analyst
Modern, an award-winning B2B digital marketing agency, is looking for a Digital Marketing Analyst with exceptional analyst skills to join our fast-paced, dynamic agency working with global technology clients.

The Digital Marketing Analyst is part of the Digital Team with the main focus of delivering actionable insights to the wider agency through reports, dashboards and data visualisation. As a self-starter, great communicator and a team player with superb analytical skills, you?ll provide performance analysis, website behaviour analysis and competitor analysis relating to digital advertising: PPC, display, programmatic and website performance ? including sales performance.

You?ll be the go-to person for gathering complex sets of data from multiple sources in order to provide insights on performance for clients. As the Digital Marketing Analyst, you'll also provide opportunity analysis, forecasting models, audience analysis, multi-channel analysis and customer journey analysis models.

You?ll love data, be adept at marketing analysis and be able to easily identify growth opportunities from digital advertising right through to sales analysis and ROI. You?ll be able to take requirements from a range of stakeholders and problem-solve for the teams contributing to insights and strategic direction.

To be considered for this role, you?ll need at least 4+ years working in an analytical role within digital marketing and have a deep understanding of the metrics involved including ad performance, attribution and sales analysis. You?ll be able to self-manage, work autonomously, be a team player, have a positive outlook and always be happy to get the job done.

Responsibilities for the Digital Marketing Analyst:

· Compile and aggregate data from multiple sources to create reports highlighting KPIs and optimisation recommendations

· Ensuring that reporting and analysis needs of clients are met as per the timeline and to agreed requirements

· Designing, building and deploying reports, dashboards and analytical solutions, including data visualisation

· Providing strategic insights and analysis from data sets

· Ensure maintenance of connectors for digital dashboards and reports

· Ensure maintenance of documentation for report structures and processes

· Ensure that reports meet presentation standards

· Provide data-led recommendations for all digital advertising channels and digital journeys, including multi-channel campaigns and customer journeys

· Provide sales reports and performance analysis from lead to sale, including ROI analysis

· Deep dive analysis where appropriate such as headroom analysis, audience analysis, performance analysis, website conversion analysis and digital customer journey mapping

· Work closely with the Strategy team and Client Services team to provide reports, recommendations and analysis as well as influence strategic recommendations

· Supporting the development of junior members of the team

· Train and assist users of the dashboards and platforms

Knowledge and Skills:

· Bachelor?s degree in Information Systems, Maths, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, or a related field

· Have at least 4 years? experience working in an analytics role

· Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, Google Cloud Platform, and a Data Warehouse like Tableau Snowflake

· Proven track record with Supermetrics, Google BigQuery, Tableau Snowflake and Salesforce Einstein

· Proven track record working with APIs and scripts

· Experience with HTML, JavaScript coding and/or SQL

· Advanced Excel skills essential

· Knowledge of marketing automation platforms such as Pardot, Eloqua, Marketo

· Ability to create custom reports from multiple data-sets

· Advanced visualisation skills

· Good prioritisation skills, ability to self-start and work autonomously at a fast pace

· Excellent attention to detail

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong analytical skills, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills relating to data projects

· Google Analytics certified

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
