br/>BB has been delivering Information Security Awareness campaigns for over 10 years, we have helped private, public and third sector organisations design, develop and implement cybersecurity educational campaigns to positively change behaviours and reduce the risk of cybersecurity threats. We have worked with organisations of 2 to 80,000 employees, providing interactive, engaging cloud-based cybersecurity awareness campaigns, phishing simulations, communications, marketing materials and policy management.

The opportunity and role purpose:

This is a new role for the organisation, Bob?s Business are now searching for a Systems Administrator who is motivated to join their well-capitalised and ambitious company for the next phase of growth.

The primary purpose of the role is to develop within the Bob?s Business technical team

Main areas of responsibility

  • Responsible for the ongoing maintenance, security, and availability of systems infrastructure internally & on AWS based on business requirements and adhering to tight operations, security, and procedural models.
  • Troubleshooting complex problems finding root causes and putting long term fixes in place.
  • Providing technical assistance to other teams
  • Implementation of system changes & Active Directory Management/Development
  • Linux/Windows/MacOS Operating system patching and maintenance
  • Increase efficiency within the team through automation and process improvement.
  • Responding to and resolving complex incidents.
  • Creating documentation standards to be adopted by the team
  • Providing guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members.
  • Communicating with all levels of the business to help present new ideas and provide recommendations for new technologies.
  • Managing and delivering simulated phishing campaigns

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience in dealing with email delivery and the issues surrounding it.
  • Experience using and deploying multiple OS’ such as Windows Server, Ubuntu, MacOS etc. including the use of command line interfaces and basic scripting.
  • An understanding of Virtualised/Containerised environments and typical security controls.
  • Bachelor’s degree within a relevant technical field. (e.g IT, Computer Science etc.)

Knowledge and Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to develop
  • Strong level of communication with non-technical clients & internal staff
  • Computer literate
  • Operating as part of a small team, you must be able to work without supervision.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
