Front of House Staff Full Time

Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Front of House team member to join our team, helping support the seamless running of both the bar and restaurant at The Banningham Crown. We are accredited with Visit England Scheme Good to Go and are meeting all Covid requirements.

Ideally you?ll have previous experience working as a Bartender with cellar management experience or Waiter/Waitress and will thrive working within a team to deliver excellent customer service, always aiming to exceed the customer?s expectations. The pace is fast and the standards are high, but if you are passionate and a quick learner, it could be the start of a rewarding career.

We expect that you will be well presented, smart in appearance and well-groomed with an outgoing and friendly attitude and a real passion for customer care. You will take a proactive approach to your work and consider yourself a charismatic and approachable character.

Hours: 25-40 per week. Temporary contract from May to September at this stage. May become permanent dependent on business situation. Working 5 days from 7. Mixture of straight and split shifts.

Pay: Up to £9.75 per hour, depending on age and experience.; plus generous tips.

Experience: A minimum of 1 years' experience in a busy restaurant and/or bar. Own transport essential due to rural location.

  • Have a passion for food, wines and/or beers and spirits with the ability to recommend and advise customers to meet their needs.
  • Gain product knowledge and create a quality customer experience based on both drinks and food served at the bar.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships amongst the back and front of house team.
  • Be comfortable working in a very fast-paced environment, keeping calm during busy and peak periods.
  • Be trustworthy. After initial training, responsibilities will include security and locking up.
