Administration Officer
Care Standard is recruiting 3x trainee office administrators, each who will be appointed with different tasks. You must be on ESA / Job Seekers allowance (or a similar benefit) to be eligible for this role.

PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE

  • To provide support to clients and families as set out in the service area for which you are working
  • Work in partnership with professionals involved with clients and service users

Your role with us is extremely valuable, and we accept that this takes dedication and commitment. You will be expected to;

  • Assist in the running of the Service/Unit/Department in terms of operational, administrative and financial effectiveness, within the policies determined by Care Standard and within budgets, which will be prepared locally and agreed centrally.

SOME OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES

[Candidates should keep in mind that training will be provided to complete and manage the following activities;]

  • Establish and monitor timely and efficient office systems using Microsoft Office;
  • Carry out supervision and assist with the development of secretarial, administration and reception staff as necessary under guidance form the Branch Manager(s);
  • Ensuring IT policies and procedures are followed and up to date;
  • Manage and monitor invoicing, debts, month end accounts and daily banking systems;
  • Monitor service payroll systems;
  • Research and undergo relevant marketing tasks
  • Liaise and correspond with involved professionals and clients informing them of any organisational changes if applicable;
  • Answering and attending all queries, including those over email, call, and other medias.
  • Attend management meetings as required, and take minutes;
  • General cleaning and service activities within the office;
  • Undertaking interviews and developing candidate CV?s from time to time;
  • Referring new recruits for any training or compliance checks to the relevant agencies;
  • To undertake any other duties as may from time to time be specified by Care Standard, that is within the level and responsibility appropriate to the grade of post;

REQUIREMENTS

As part of the Application, you will be expected to expected to;

  • Have a keen interest to understand and deliver the required activities in relation to customer service;
  • Have, or be willing to enrol for an Enhanced DBS Check with Barred Checklist (for Adults & Children)
  • (preferred) to be qualified with a Level 3 Diploma in Business (or related subject)
  • Be able to perform all duties and tasks with reasonable adjustment, where appropriate, in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 in relation to Disability Provisions.
  • Work in office based settings, with a degree of autonomy working in relative isolation with unsocial hours e.g. early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Salary: £4.30-£9.00 per hour
