The College operates across two closely located campuses, the larger campus next to the University of Leicester on University Road and a smaller campus at Regent Road.

The College is seeking to recruit a Systems and Network Administrator to join our IT Services team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused person with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office who can help us provide high quality IT technical support to our students and our staff. The successful applicant will work alongside another systems and network administrator who will support the IT manager in managing the colleges IT infrastructure, ideally have experience of working within an IT setting, the ability to work in a friendly and professional manner and strong planning, organisational and communication skills. It is anticipated that the successful applicant for this post will work across both the College?s University Road and R Building Campuses.

We are about to start a major project upgrading both our local area networks and our wifi to wifi6 across both campuses. This exciting and significant investment in our IT infrastructure will deliver an extremely high quality experience for staff and students and offers enormous potential to implement the latest technologies. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to shape the design of the network and to play a full part in this project.
