Recruitment Advisor Full Time

We are currently recruiting experienced Recruitment Advisors to join Coventry University Talent Team and be part of their growing team as well as to help provide front line and practical Graduate job application to support Coventry University Undergraduate Students as well as collaborate with key colleagues to create social media and career information objects for use with students.
Initially the vacancy will be a minimum of three month contract with a potential view to be extended and possible lead to permanent position, this is a great opportunity for anyone with a passion in recruitment and enjoys being part of a driven, welcoming team.
As a Recruitment Advisor, your main responsibilities will be:
  • Help students build confidence and motivation through workshops and 1-1 support
  • Supporting students to build job applications, prepare for interviews/assessments
  • Help students to create CV and Cover Letter
  • Keep accurate records and statistical information linked to the outcomes of the students you support
  • Build up a specialist understanding of a job search trends and themes including future-forward, upcoming recruitment trends and practices, use social media for job searching and self-promotion
  • Supporting Graduate Recruitment Consultant to produce high quality labour market intelligence to meet the careers information needs of the service/faculties and subs.
  • Support online content generation by contributing to one of more of the following activities - blog writing, social media, marketing and career materials
  • Working with the wider Talent Team and contribute where appropriate to the effective of recruitment, support and retention of students

Skills and experience required for the role:
  • Previous experience of working with education, jobs coach, recruitment settings
  • Careers guidance
  • Clear and balance understanding of the challenges facing students in building job search skills
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Digital and IT skills
  • Enjoy working with others
  • Team Player
  • Approachable
  • Confident
  • Good organisation skills

Hours/Salary:
Monday to Friday 08:30am - 17:00pm
Salary starting from £24,000
