Call Handler Full Time

We?re supporting our clients as they adapt to a new world in the wake of COVID-19. We?re now recruiting for roles which will help our clients to deliver vital services and to resume business wherever possible.

Working on behalf of one of the UK?s biggest and best-known mobile providers. You will make outbound calls to existing customers to offer upgrades on their current account. This will involve customers still in contract, where you can offer exclusive deals, including buy outs. You will discuss all products and services available to ensure the customer is receiving a tailored package following your effective needs analysis.


You will work on a 3-week set shift rotation between the hours of 10am-8pm Monday-Thursday, 9:30am-6pm Fridays. 1 in 3 Saturdays is also required between the hours of 9am-4pm.

Full shifts will be confirmed at interview stage.


Based at our offices in Sheffield - Woodseats (S8), close to the city centre with excellent public transport links.

What you?ll be doing:

In this role you will you will make outbound calls to exisitng customers, and offering to upgrade them. You can contact anyone who is in their last 6 months of contract. There is an expectation to offer add-on sales, such as insurance or accessories. We also promote additional lines on this call, from a new sim-only for a family member, to a tablet for kids.

  • Working in a busy call centre environment making sales to new & existing customers
  • Following up enquiries previously made, seeing sales through end to end
  • Make a high volume of calls meeting challenging KPI?s
  • Be confident conducting an effective needs-analysis to effectively pitch the benefits of different mobile phone packages as well as promoting additional lines, products and services offered by O2.
  • A clear communicator over the phone
  • Straight talking - able to talk people patiently through processes in a clear ?jargon free? way
  • Hungry to achieve sales targets
  • Passionate about delivering personal and brilliant customer experience

What we?re looking for:

  • Confident and outgoing personality.
  • Previous experience in sales is preferred.
  • The ability to perform an effective needs analysist.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • The ability to objection handle.
  • Sales driven.
  • Competent in reading scripture.
  • Basic maths ability.
  • Team player.
