Asset Management Assistant, Glasgow
(Working from home initially due to Covid-19 restrictions)

35 hours per week, Mon-Fri

£23,614 - £26,092 per annum (pro-rata for part time hours)

We are looking for a proactive individual to join the Property Management team to assist the Asset Management Officer in maintenance of the Asset Management System (AMS); supporting the service to ensure maintenance of comprehensive stock asset information for delivery of all planned, cyclical and service maintenance services, helping to ensure that the AMS is fully updated and utilised and that document control, procurement and contractual procedures and processes are efficient, compliant and provide adequate risk control.

The Role

Duties for this role include:

  • assisting and acting as backup for the Asset Management Officer

  • assisting in the maintenance and updating of the Asset Management System (AMS)

  • assisting in the development and implementation of procedures for Bield?s AMS

  • assisting with the co-ordination of survey works

  • generating staff and customer survey surveys in relation to service maintenance and reporting on results

  • assisting with the effective communication and consultation processes with stakeholders

  • supporting Property Management procurement exercises

  • producing documentation, compliance information and reports to facilitate the renewal of all House Multiple Occupancy licences

Person Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • In depth knowledge of how a Property Management department functions

  • Comprehensive IT skills

  • Experience of maintaining stock and contractor information

  • A customer oriented approach to service delivery and understanding of the needs of older people

  • Past experience in the production of detailed reports & analysis of reports (Desirable)

  • Problem Solving Ability

  • Organisational Skills to plan and prioritise a demanding workload and deliver agreed targets

  • Interpersonal skills required to liaise with other Bield staff, external staff in Councils, building contractors, tenants and members of the public

  • Numerical skills to prepare reports and to manage work within approved budgets

  • HNC in Business Studies (or equivalent qualification) or demonstrable experience, at a senior administrative level
