Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust provides child and adult mental health services, learning disability, wellbeing and eating disorder services across Norfolk and Suffolk.

Job overview



An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen to join the East Care Group Administration Team based within Coastal Integrated Delivery Team at Walker Close in Ipswich.

This post will be for 30 hours a week, which can be worked flexibly, as a fixed term contract or secondment for one year.




Main duties of the job



The successful candidate will provide day to day management and supervision to our dedicated Reception Team, as well as undertake a range of duties including working with all aspects of our ESR system, TRAC recruitment system, assisting with Oracle procurement and undertaking building Health and Safety checks with the supervision and support of the Administration Manager.

The successful candidate will also provide administrative support to the managers of the Older People?s and Adult teams which may include presentations / spreadsheets including complex reports, raise agendas, take and process minutes for teams.

  • ICT skills including Microsoft (especially word processing, spreadsheets and presentations)

  • Good standard of literacy and numeracy.

Qualifications

  • Pitman/RSA III Typing / Word Processing or equivalent secretarial experience at advanced level.

  • NVQ 3 Business Administration or equivalent or willing to work towards.

  • NVQ 2 Customer Services or working towards.

Experience

  • Ability to work with senior members of staff across a large organisation.

  • Experience of working at PA level.

  • Supervision of staff

This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
