Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust provides child and adult mental health services, learning disability, wellbeing and eating disorder services across Norfolk and Suffolk.

Job overview



We have an exciting substantive opportunity available within the HR Team, as Assistant HRBP, Band 6 .

The role will support the Joint Heads of Business Partnering within their designated Care Groups and will also provide support across the wider HRBP function when business needs require.



Main duties of the job



We are looking for a candidate qualified or working towards CIPD qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience. Someone who can demonstrate experience of advising managers on a wide range of HR operational issues, with sound employment law knowledge. An individual who can consider business need and translate this into HR solutions. A passionate team player, with strong influencing skills who lives our values and advocates all that our Culture Change Programme supports.

Qualifications


Essential criteria


  • Graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) (equivalent to post graduate diploma) or working towards CIPD qualification or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.

Experience


Essential criteria


  • Demonstrable experience of advising managers on a wide range of HR operational issues e.g. grievance, disciplinary, absence management, etc

Desirable criteria


  • Use of Electronic Staff Record (ESR)

Skills


Essential criteria


  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of the business and ability to translate business needs into creative HR solutions.

  • Strong, positive and effective leadership and supervisory skills.

  • Displays a passion for excellence and the role HR can play in improving patient services and managing organisational change.

This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
