Our Background:

The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) was established in 2010 as an independent Research & Technology Organisation (RTO) with the objective of bridging the gap between academia and industry ? often referred to as ?the valley of death?.

We do this by developing and proving innovative manufacturing processes and technologies in an agile, low risk environment, in partnership with industry, academia and other institutions.

The MTC Mission:
We provide integrated manufacturing system solutions for customers large and small, across sectors as diverse as automotive, aerospace, rail, informatics, food & drink, construction/civil engineering, electronics, oil & gas and defence.

The Role requirements:
We are now seeking to recruit a Learning and Development Partner who can demonstrate their proven knowledge and expertise.

As the Learning and Development Partner you will have/be able to:

  • In collaboration with the Head of Talent, Learning & Development, the post-holder will be responsible for the preparation of communications to socialise the concept, launch and implementation of the Leadership Academy.
  • The post-holder will be required to exhibit strong communication skills to build long-term relationships at all levels within the MTC and engage with external stakeholders adhering to the MTC RIGHT way.
  • Experienced and innovative in the creation, design, and facilitation of leadership and management modules. The design concept will require a blended learning approach [70:20:10] and use available learning resources via the Learning Experience Platform and curate new content to support future initiatives. Ability and knowledge of the ?Kirkpatrick evaluation model? on methods to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the Leadership Academy.
  • Enhanced skills and confidence to facilitate internal groups, mentor and coach colleagues as required.
  • Prepare Leadership Academy progress and metric data to feed into the monthly review pack. This should include trends and module evaluation to present to the Executive and HR Teams. Furthermore, establish a Return On Investment / Cost Benefit Analysis model to determine the effectiveness of each programme.
