An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Management Support Administrator within the Wellbeing Service, Management Support Team. The post is being offered on a permanent contact and will be full time 37.5 hours per week, based at Brooke House, Longwater with flexible home working.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the ability to manage a busy and varied workload, in a sometimes demanding office environment. You should be able to prioritise your work effectively, have excellent communication skills, and work as part of a team or alone using your own initiative and forward thinking. The role will require management of other staff members so experience of supervising staff will be essential. Tasks will include, but not be limited to, minutes of meetings, supervision of staff, diary management, staff training and recruitment. You will need to be a focussed individual, have excellent organisational ability, flexibility and a good work ethic that supports the Trust's values. It is essential you have good skills in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.

Essential criteria

  • Word Processing or equivalent secretarial experience at advanced level.

  • NVQ 3 Business Administration or equivalent or willing to work towards.

  • Minute taking


Essential criteria

  • Understanding and experience in a full range of secretarial procedures and systems gained through senior level.

  • Working under pressure.

  • Working on own initiative without supervision.

  • Ability to work with senior members of staff across a large organisation.

  • Experience of working at PA level.

  • Supervision of staff

  • Day to day line management.
