Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust provides child and adult mental health services, learning disability, wellbeing and eating disorder services across Norfolk and Suffolk.
At any one time, around 23,000 people in Norfolk and Suffolk are receiving care and attention from the Trust. Based at Hellesdon Hospital in Norwich, the Recruitment team are looking for a new Recruitment Officer to join their team.



Main duties of the job

As a busy team we have a responsibility to the applicant and to the hiring manager. We therefore work positively to make sure we provide a high level of customer service. This role will include interaction and communication with others. To many we are the first point of contact with the Trust, so we are looking for someone who can demonstrate they understand how key good communication and customer service is.



The recruitment team is committed to offering the best possible experience and this requires us to work respectfully with each other and the wider Trust. You will learn about the end to end recruitment process, acquiring essential administration skills in the process. We will expect you to share our passion for achieving excellence.



Working for our organisation



We work Monday to Friday 9 ? 5 but can offer some flexibility on start and end times. Hellesdon Hospital offers free on-site car parking for all staff, although at the moment we do have team members who are working remotely. We will support any new starter to work form home until they feel safe to return to the office.

The Trust has now introduced a DBS Update Service which is a contractual requirement. You need to subscribe when you have applied for your DBS clearance and there is a time limit to subscribe of 19 days after receipt of your DBS disclosure. Please ensure that this is completed within the set time scale.



This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
