Bookkeeper Full Time

The client is a not for profit legal clinic based in West London, the clinic supports vulnerable groups in the community with legal aid across Domestic Abuse, Employment, Welfare & Benefits, Family, Housing, Immigration and Asylum.

Job Description

Some of the responsibilities for the Bookkeeper include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain the accounts and financial records

  • Process all transactions, payments, income and regulatory returns on QuickBooks

  • Reconcile the bank accounts

  • Credit control. Chase for outstanding payments

  • Deal with all supplier enquiries

  • Prepare monthly Management Accounts and a detailed cash flow forecast

  • Prepare a detailed Annual Budget for approval by the Trustees

The Successful Applicant

The successful Bookkeeper will have a proven track record of working in a similar role producing management accounts and presenting to trustees.

The Bookkeeper must also have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken as well as being an advanced user of excel.

Experience within charities or the legal sector will be advantageous but not essential.

What's on Offer

On offer for the Bookkeeper is a full time equivalent salary of up to £31,000 per annum which breaks down to up to £15,500 pro rata, as well as a benefit package including 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays (23 pro rata)
