PA to Pharmacy ? Band 4


37.5hrs/week


Fixed Term ? 12 months maternity leave cover


£22,252 – £24,258 (pro rata)


NHS Lothian Pharmacy Services is looking for an experienced PA/administrator to join the Pharmacy Admin Team to cover during maternity leave.
We are looking for someone who is an active team player who thrives in a busy working environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and outstanding organisational and planning abilities are essential. In addition, they must be confident, able to deal with both senior managers and staff; self-organised and meticulous.


The post holder will be required to work flexibly, as the job entails undertaking a variety of duties including but not limited to, confidential secretarial and administrative support, diary management, and general administration. They will also act as secretariat for meetings and steering groups involving members of the senior management team, and representatives from other sites.

Applicants must have an HNC/HND in Office Administration (or related subject) or equivalent level of experience; advanced keyboard skills; and knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in particular. They must also be able to demonstrate an ability to operate within a senior administrative and secretarial role.


Knowledge of PECOS, SSTS and e-Rostering would be beneficial, though not essential, and training will be provided. Still interested? Then we?d like to hear from you.
