Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday

Location: Derby with flexible working

There has never been a more exciting time to join our growing marketing team. The team are on a journey of real growth and that is because our business is also on a journey of growth so it couldn?t be a more exciting time to join us and really drive change. This role will be part of the wider Motorpoint Marketing team and responsible for growing our commercial vehicles sales, and also our trade proposition ? Auction4Cars. Both areas of the business offer significant opportunity for growth. This is therefore this amazing new role that has been created to help realise that growth potential through the development of our Trade and Commercial propositions, and our wider go-to-market strategy we are really excited to be bringing this role into our business and we are looking for someone that is just as exciting about the value they can bring to the role and the team!

Our marketing team are a bunch of talented individuals with a real passion for brand and digital but what makes them really great isn?t just the knowledge they bring to the team but the way they share that knowledge, support each other and collaborate on projects and ideas. Regardless of what role you come into you will be working with the team to add value and share ideas and collaborate and what makes the Motorpoint marketing team so great!

Now about the role?

Just some of the things you will be responsible for if you were successful would be:

  • Growing new customer numbers across our A4C platform and our commercial customer base
  • Increasing repeat usage rates of the A4C platform and repeat purchase rates for our commercial vehicles
  • Discovering customer insights and market trends that will identify growth opportunities for these 2 markets
  • Ongoing monitoring of KPIs and the development of action plans to ensure targets are achieved
  • Developing compelling communications and campaigns to drive awareness, understanding and desire for our Trade and Commercial propositions and product offerings
  • Developing an annual campaign calendar and the setting and management of the budgets to effectively execute the planned campaigns
  • Understanding the customer buying journey (online and offline) in order to identify improvements that can feed into a journey improvement plan
  • Working with our CRM team to develop targeted communication programmes to drive conversion and ongoing engagement with the brands
  • Working with the Digital team and Tech Dev team to deliver optimised buying journeys across the Motorpoint and A4C websites
  • Working with the Marketing Director and Chief Commercial Officer in the development of new propositions for our target audiences
  • Collaborating with Sales, Customer Care and Operations teams to ensure an aligned strategy across the business units.

What are we looking for?

  • Analytical and inquiring mind, able to get under the skin of the numbers and understand what?s driving performance
  • Ability to translate insight into actionable activities that drive KPI improvements
  • Proven experience in building and implementing growth strategies
  • Experienced in driving growth through both online and retail channels
  • Experienced in developing digital platforms and tools to better serve customers
  • Genuinely customer focused in approach, with a passion for understanding the drivers of customer behaviour
  • Developing propositions to better serve the needs of the customer
  • Good communicator and able to clearly articulate plans and sell business plans into key stakeholders and senior management
  • Experience of working across the full marketing mix desirable
  • Someone who is inquisitive and passionate about the automotive market, particularly the trade and commercial vehicle markets
  • Well organised, with a logical approach and the ability to prioritise accordingly
  • Comfortable working as part of cross-functional project groups and multi-site teams
  • Thorough and persistent, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to review processes and identify improvements
  • Open minded, willing to give and receive feedback to improve performance
  • Able to work at pace with a strong focus on planning and delivery to agreed timescales, budget and quality of service
  • A creative thinker who can create a vision our Trade and Commercial businesses
