Job overview

We are looking to recruit an extremely professional, conscientious, calm and confident individual to become part of the Administration Team for the Suffolk Child, Family and Young People's services in the Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust. The Post Holder would provide administration support to multi-disciplinary teams, who supports children and young people up to the age of 25.

Main duties of the job

You must possess excellent time management skills, a positive approach and be able to remain calm under pressure. There will be, at times, face to face patient contact and the working environment can be very busy. The successful candidate will need to have the ability to confidently and sensitively deal with telephone calls from individuals who may sometimes be distressed or upset.

You will need to be able to demonstrate the strength of your communication, prioritisation and administration skills at the same time as showcasing your knowledge of IT systems. You will be able to evidence a flexible response to service needs and the ability to think creatively. Experience of working to deadlines, on your own initiative and maintaining strict confidentiality are also essential.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Providing Senior Administration Support to the Child, Family and Young Peoples Services Clinical Teams within the Suffolk location.

Essential criteria:

Previous administration experience, use of ICT applications/packages. Experience of working in a busy office. Diary management, Minute taking and extensive knowledge of all Microsoft packages, specifically excel.

This role requires a good knowledge and understanding of data which is monitored on a daily basis.
