We are currently recruiting for a Pricing Manager to join the Marketing Team. This role will report to the Head Of Pricing and be responsible for operationalising the pricing decisions of the Commercial Board to support the Pricing Strategy and One Year Plan goals.

This is a full time position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, within our Hull office, we do offer flexible working, with a mixture of Home & office working.

About the Role:

The Pricing Manager will be accountable for implementing the agreed company-wide price changes in a timely and accurate manner.

They will be responsible for preparing the necessary data to enact the agreed price changes on the SAP ERP system, providing regular reporting/tracking to the business on commercial results for all major pricing initiatives and compliance reports related to our pricing principles.

In addition, the successful candidate will communicate with stakeholders on the decisions taken, how to access the relevant information and ensure all stakeholders involved in the price changes comply with the commercial constraints.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the Category Team to ensure products are regularly benchmarked and competitively-priced to maximise sales and profitability.

  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact for internal colleagues to assist in troubleshooting pricing issues and ensure solutions adhere to agreed governance standards.

  • Create data model options to assist with the commercial decision-making for the company-wide price changes

  • Ensure product and customer data relationships critical to pricing are reviewed regularly and updated accurately.

Experience Required:
The successful Pricing Manager must have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven track record of being able to create complex data queries and manipulate large data sets (millions of records from multiple sources) using some or all of the following technologies ? SAP ERP, SAP BW, Advanced SQL, Alteryx

  • An understanding of B2B pricing processes and best practice

  • Able to demonstrate how they have influenced stakeholders at various levels.

  • Relevant degree, or similar level qualification with professional expertise in a senior analytical role (preferable in B2B pricing)

  • Excellent commercial acumen
