This small, family-run agency are proudly recruiting for another Recruitment Consultant to join the team providing BANK / Temp staff to our partners.

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Associate Director you will identify and secure new customers whilst providing ongoing service to exceed current / potential client's expectations. This will include developing a relationship with key stakeholders, allocating resources to ensure vacancies are filled successfully, ensuring all administration is completed.

Business Development

  • Working on a ?New Client' approach actively targeting key prospective clients in line with company services
  • Maintaining a positive working relationship with existing accounts and your live workforce
  • Sourcing candidates via job boards, referral schemes, social media; searching and selection
  • Actively seeking and following up ?new client? leads generated by candidate screening
  • Conducting regular review meetings/calls with clients to understand and communicate needs/changes and building strong client relationships
  • Understand the local talent market and competition
  • Recognising and understanding client's operation, culture, challenges and requirements
  • Submitting weekly MI reports to management including successes, difficulties and pending opportunities
  • Referring business to other parts of the business that fall outside of your market and work closely with other business leaders
  • Hitting company KPIs
  • Ensuring a positive approach and attitude to all activities and consistently demonstrate a desire to learn and improve yourself


  • Writing job adverts and client specifications

· Networking and advertising live opportunities using all available channels such as social media, job boards and referral schemes

  • Using CV / candidate databases to find suitable candidates relevant to your client?s requirements and talent banking for future vacancies
  • Sourcing new candidates from other avenues such as social media and other platforms using local market knowledge
  • Contacting prospective candidates and conducting initial screening to find out what roles they are interested in, their salary expectations, notice period, reason for leaving current role, and so on.
  • Searching for and identifying job leads to pass to the relevant consultant and strive to identify new candidate and client opportunities.
  • Identifying candidate skills to match appropriately with client requirements
  • Negotiating contracts and new starter packs
  • Maintaining regular contact with candidates to check their availability for work, their requirements, and to answer any initial questions they may have about a role
  • Deal with general queries relating to contracts, pay, logistics etc
  • Provide support in carrying out pre-employment and compliance checks in line with company policy and relevant legislation.
  • Providing general and administrative support to the whole recruitment team such as answering telephones, dealing with enquiries, ensuring that candidates and clients always receive a professional and comprehensive recruitment service.
  • Constant use and maintenance of Microsoft Office, internal Database and Matchmaker
  • Keeping a strong presence on social platforms in order to help market and promote Bliss Recruitment
