Salary: Competitive

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours per week: 37.5

Shift Times: 07:30 to 15:30

Working days: 5 days out of 7, including some weekends and Bank Holidays.

We are currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to join our passionate and driven team within the Healthcare division in Stratford-upon-Avon on apermanent basis!

Job Responsibilities:

  • To co-ordinate and manage all catering and associated services at appointed premises.

  • Food production in line with the company recipes, cooked and presented to a high specification.

  • Planning and the promotion of menus.

  • EDI ordering of all supplies.

  • Weekly stock control to check the storage of goods.

  • Report all breakdown of equipment to responsible parties.

  • To manage all Catering Team Members to provide the required service at an agreed level.

  • Carries out daily shift briefings.

  • Weekly completion of payroll

  • Maintain a positive customer and client relationship through regular meetings at all times.

  • Compliance of agreed customer satisfaction levels to be measured through customer feedback.

  • To be visible and available throughout service periods whilst on duty.

  • Maintain the highest level of customer contact, keeping complaints to a minimum and ensuring these are dealt with professionally and promptly.

  • Delivery of agreed budgets to be managed on a weekly basis.

  • To ensure all goods and services are fully charged for.

  • To be responsible for the security of the unit money at all times.

  • To appraise all unit Team Members on an agreed time scale.

  • Completion of Team Members weekly rotas to ensure all shifts are covered.

  • To recruit all local unit Team Members as agreed with the Operations Manager.

  • Assist in the smooth running of the contract at all times especially during times of sickness and holiday.

What we are looking for from you:

  • Ideally a professional catering qualification to 706/1 and 2 or equivalent NVQ

  • Food safety L3 would be an advantage

  • Good Standard of cooking and food presentation

  • Must be an excellent communicator, particularly with older people

  • IT literate.

  • Ability to work within a challenging budget in a fast-paced environment

  • Previous experience in a similar role and environment would be an advantage

  • Would suit someone looking for a better work/life balance as no evenings so would also consider applicants from the restaurant or hotel sector

An enhanced DBS clearance will be required
