Job overview



We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Team Support Administrators to work in our Access and Assessment Team based in Ipswich. This is a substantive position on a fixed term basis for 9 months. The post is for 35.25 hours per week, part-time working would be considered.



Interviews are to be confirmed but would be for week commencing 22nd February.2021, candidates may only be given a minimum of 3 days? notice, please note this date is provisional and may be subject to change. Main duties of the job



You will need to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills with a dedication to confidentiality and service user experience, and will also have excellent customer service skills and administration experience.



You will be joining a dedicated friendly team in a fast-paced environment using a range of clinical systems and Microsoft packages. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook will be essential. Knowledge of the Trust system Lorenzo would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided.



Due to COVID 19 working restrictions, there may be a requirement to work from home. If so, you will be provided with equipment and training to support this arrangement.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities


The role will focus on supporting the clinical team with entering and maintaining information to patient records as well as supporting Service Users with queries or other needs by telephone. To provide the best service to our Service Users the ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative, to remain calm under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude.



The service operates Monday to Friday 08.00 - 20.00 and involves shift work.

  • Understanding and experience in a full range of secretarial procedures and systems gained through practice at intermediate level.

Qualifications

  • NVQ 3 Business Administration or equivalent or working towards.

  • NVQ 2 Customer Services or working towards.

  • Knowledge of Trust electronic record system

The Trust has now introduced a DBS Update Service which is a contractual requirement. Please ensure that this is completed within the set time scale.



This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
