Role: Sale Manager / Account Manager / Business Development Manager



Corecom Consulting has been engaged to recruit a Sales / BA manager for one of our starts up tech clients in Yorkshire. We are looking for a BD guru who is able to take over their sales strategy and able to build their sales pipeline with the expansion of existing clients and the process of building new relationships to drum up a new business.

Salary: up to £35,000 (with share schemes within the business & profit-related bonus)



The location where work is to be performed:
Remote (new office is in Huddersfield)



Overview of Skills:


  • More than 3 years of Business Development or Sales experience

  • Telephone sales experience

  • LinkedIn sales experience

  • Networking within warm and cold contacts to drum up business opportunities

  • Experience in managing sales pipelines

  • Expanding business within the current business

  • Experience of working with SMEs

  • Ability to work to targets

  • Confident being the sole salesperson for the start-up, but able to work collaboratively with senior management

  • Working within an IT or Agile industry would be helpful, IT Background will allow someone to hit the ground running on the technical side

Day to day duties:


  • Engaging with forums and communities on Linkedin to network within the industry

  • Building on current relationships to identifying new business opportunities

  • Managing a sales pipeline and forecast

  • Working alongside business directors to create a sales strategy

  • Meetings showing demos to new potential clients

Key Project Details:



Taking over the sales and business development function from the directors. Working alongside senior management in putting a sales strategy in place. It will be their responsibility to drum up new business within their current networks but also have a strong focus on building their network to generate a healthy sales pipeline.
