The Aspire to HE partnership is one of 29 consortia nationwide formed as part of the Office for Students (OfS) funded Uni Connect Partnerships. Aspire to HE?s work is integral to the University of Wolverhampton?s strategy for delivering Access and Outreach activities and support the ambitious, informed decision making about higher education of young people in local schools and colleges. The aim of the programme is to inform and motivate targeted Year 9 to 13 students about the many and varied opportunities that are available to them in higher education and to provide support and motivational experiences at different stages of their educational journey. Aspire to HE provides Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) and engaging events and activities for young people in schools/colleges and in higher education environments through sustained programmes of support for students.
Aspire to HE?s funding is currently running until July 31st, with further funding scheduled to be made available in March 2021.

Part of Aspire to HE?s role is to engage our local community of pupils, teachers, parents and local stakeholders, to share impactful resources and raise the profile of the partnership. You will play a crucial role in developing Aspire to HE?s Communications Strategy and manage key relationships with internal and external partners. The post holder will:


  • lead on Aspire to HE?s storytelling and impact reporting by creating campaigns, case studies, and infographics to be shared across a range of platforms

  • oversee our social media presence to engage directly with pupils and their parents.

  • grow our website, and work with local partners to ensure that material is optimised to drive traffic.
