The School of Performing Arts at the University of Wolverhampton is seeking to recruit a Senior Lecturer in Music Therapy (0.5). Housed in the state-of-the-art Performance Hub on our Walsall campus, the School offers a wide portfolio of courses and has strong links with industry. We are committed to providing an excellent student experience and suitable candidates will be expected to demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for teaching, with the desire to support students to fulfil their potential and realise their career ambitions.

Senior Lecturer in Music Therapy (0.5 FTE)

The successful candidate will possess a masters degree in a relevant subject. You will be registered with the HCPC and have the potential to be an excellent teacher.

You will have knowledge and/ or experience of higher education teaching in music therapy or related areas, and will be able to contribute to ? and lead - curriculum development and delivery at postgraduate level. The successful candidate will be expected to work alongside colleagues in both the School of Performing Arts and the Institute of Health to develop postgraduate provision in Music Therapy. You will also be expected to contribute to teaching on the undergraduate music curriculum, introducing students to music therapy and community practice.

The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively with subject colleagues, also possessing a network of links to your professional practice in clinical settings.
