The Analyst Programmer (SAP FI/CO-TRM-BPC) is a crucial role in the SAP AMS (Application Management Services) organisation and is responsible for the functional support, analysis, configuration and continuous improvement of the SAP Finance (FI-CO) module, Treasury Management (TRM), Production Planning & Controlling (PP), Supply Chain & Logistics Management(SCM), ERP Implementation and the Business Planning & Consolidation systems to meet the business needs of back office processes.
Working closely with our customers to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot and enhance SAP functionality, the analyst adds value to the AMS organisation through their knowledge of the FICO, TRM, PP, SCM, ERP and BPC knowledge of its integration with other modules and solutions (Logistics/PS/HR/Procurement).
  • Requirements gathering, project planning and management, solution design, configuration, customization and enhancements of SAP products
  • Technical analysis and documentation of integrated systems
  • Provide expert advice on SAP functionality, change management and other advisory services
  • Suggest solutions to customer based on best practice
  • Provide guidance on test plans and end-user documentation

Required Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Finance business processes and accounting practices
  • Detailed knowledge of SAP FICO, SCM, PP & ERP
  • Provides specialist level functional and configuration support for the SAP solutions in the FI/CO modules of ECC 6.
  • Provides specialist level functional and configuration support for the SAP solutions in the Treasury and Business Planning & Consolidation systems.
  • Sound configuration, support and business process knowledge of master data, GL, AP, AR, Asset accounting, Treasury, Business Planning and Consolidation.
  • Sound configuration and support knowledge of cost element, cost centre, internal orders, product costing, profitability analysis and profit centre accounting.
  • Sound configuration and support knowledge of Treasury & Risk Management, cash and liquidity management, in-house cash, bank communication, business planning and Consolidation.
  • Good understanding of configuration dependencies and integration points between separate functional modules of SAP for Finance and Treasury for external third parties.
  • Detailed Integration Knowledge with SAP MM/SD/BW/HR
  • Strong SAP Financials skills: SAP Simple Finance
  • SAP ABAP development experience is required
  • S4/HANA experience is highly desirable and additional experience of Product Costing, Profitability Analysis (COPA), FSCM, Opentext (VIM) or Joint Venture (JV), Project Systems (PS) is beneficial.
  • Integration experience with Logistics modules (MM, SD, PP, FICO modules) is required.
  • Implementation and delivery experience, which should include at least one full project lifecycle
  • Good understanding the OTC, RTR, PTP and HR Processes as it interacts with FI/CO as per the standard SAP process model.
  • Experience in business process re-engineering/change management and project management, ideally in a multi-national company environment

  • A Bachelor / Masters University degree or relevant experience in Finance or Information Management.
  • SAP Certification is desired
  • Proven success in contributing within a team environment
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Onshore, client-facing experience across a variety of industries
  • Hands-on delivery in major IT Transformation Programmes
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong career progression to date
  • You must be willing to be London based, but be fully mobile, i.e. prepared to work away from home Monday to Friday as required
