Floating Support Worker Full Time

Become a Difference Maker with Pobl and provide support that enables people to live autonomously, help improve their financial capability and retain independence, dignity, respect and inclusion in the community.

The role will be varied and involve working with vulnerable people in their homes or temporary accommodation to prevent homelessness and develop skills needed to maintain their tenancies, change negative behaviour, maintain their health and wellbeing, progress to independent living and make appropriate decisions for the future.

Key Information

· This post is temporary for 12 months.

· This is a full time (37 hour), permanent post.

· The salary for this role is £19,938 per annum.

· For this role you will require an Enhanced DBS check, which we pay for.

· It is essential for the successful candidate to have a full drivers licence and access to a vehicle.

· Develop your networking skills by working in partnership with external agencies

Who are we looking for?

To be a great Support Worker, you don?t always need previous experience or qualifications. A good understanding of housing related support and welfare benefits or awareness of issues faced by people at risk of homelessness would be extremely useful in the role.

The ideal candidate will have:

· The ability to self-manage a case load

· High Standard of IT literacy

· Organisation and prioritising skills
