Your new role



We are looking for a Grants Officer to join the ERDF Programme Team on a full time, Fixed Term Contract basis until 31st March 2021. As a Grants Officer, you will be responsible for supporting businesses through the application process which could include; assisting businesses to complete the relevant documentation, quality checking programme documentation, liaison with potential applicants to ensure correct information is obtained all within tight timeframes.



You will support accurate reporting of all stages of the grants scheme from expression of interest to payment and beneficiary evidence. You will ensure applications are compliant with ERDF Programme guidance, European Commission programme guidance and relevant UK legislation by referring to both external and internal guidelines and policies (including data protection and GDPR).



This role will be remote working


What you'll need to succeed



To be successful in this role, it is essential that you are a proficient in the use of various Microsoft packages particularly Excel and Word. You will be liaising with a large volume of businesses, so it is vital that you are able to communicate (verbal and written) and listen effectively.



This role will suit a highly organised individual who is used dealing with a lot of manual administration i.e processing applications. Attention to detail is vital for this role and you will be required to make decisions based on applications submitted.
