Technical Sales Manager

Main purpose of the role:

To establish and retain business opportunities for the ICR business, primarily obtaining new clients and fostering business relationships to increase revenue from sales. As part of this there may be an element of account management involved however primarily a technical sales business development role, with a strong focus primarily on Leak Sealing and On-Site Machining.

Reports to: Sales Director

Main tasks:

Maintain and identify new opportunities to achieve financial performance of Business Unit and Group.

Develop strategy, tactics, sales plans and targets for the Leak Sealing Business.

Develop relationships with new and existing clients in the UK.

Identify and report on business opportunities in target markets.

Key responsibilities

Develop a comprehensive pipeline of opportunities

Develop and retain positive relationships with new and existing customers and foster positive relationships within the ICR organisation.

Deliver an agreed annual individual Company target.

Develop, execute and achieve sales targets and expand client base.

Follow the Group sales process, including creating, developing and maintaining a weighted sales pipeline and reporting.

Recognise and adhere to all Company HSEQ policies internally and externally.

Key interactions/interfaces:

Senior Management, Sales, Operations, Finance and Commercial teams.

Key results:

Generating high potential enquiries.

Exceeding sales targets.

Quality information/data to management.

Mandatory Skills and Training Requirements:

Strong knowledge of Leak Sealing and On-site Machining

Business and commercial management

Strong ability to build long term relationships

Reliable with initiative, drive and enthusiasm

Sales and negotiation skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Previous sales or technical sales experience
