Account Manager, HPE Full Time

The Account Mangers main purpose is to develop, nurture and engage with over 1600 lapsed ?warm customers? who have previously traded. You will be expected re-introducing the full IT product range to these re-sellers/VAR/end-users.

Due to continued growth year on year, my client is seeking an IT Sales focused, ?Account Manager? who has built a successful track record of success in identifying, developing and nurturing SME accounts, who is looking for a higher income reward for their hard work and efforts. The Account Manager is expected to provide IT Technology solutions that include IT hardware, HPE, DELL, EMC, Servers, networks and Microsoft Licenses packages.

As the IT Sales focused, Account Manager, your responsibilities will include

  • To methodically qualify, build and manage an accurate sales funnel
  • Strategically attack a sales funnel to close new business
  • Maintain a high volume of activity including outbound calls, emails and client meetings
  • Skilfully deliver sales pitches and present IT solutions using inside sales best practices
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales targets
  • Thrive on change while remaining highly organised, optimistic and coachable
  • Drive to individually compete (and win!) while still being a fantastic team player
  • Grow (Land) and further penetrate (Expand) new accounts to develop business opportunities ("hunter & farmer")
  • The ability to effectively build, manage and maintain long-term customer relationships at the highest level.
  • The ability to work effectively, defining the right proposition for specific client?s needs
  • Accountability for all operational transactions to ensure ownership of customer
  • Used to planning and owning multiple solution sales campaigns personally
  • The ability to manage the entire deal lifecycle from inception to delivery start and commercial close

To be a successful Account Manager, you will need the following background:

  • A track record of achievement, preferably in IT infrastructure (hardware and software) with focus on HPE
  • Great communication and sales skills
  • Good business sense
  • Technically savvy
  • A positive attitude to dealing with people

Job Duties:

  • Manage multiple accounts, ensuring that a high level of customer retention and satisfaction is maintained
  • Meet monthly quotas
  • Engage with multiple customers on a daily basis by reaching out to new clients, and by developing campaigns for maintaining customer loyalty
  • Implement strategies for retaining customers requesting to terminate or downgrade their account
  • Record changes to customer accounts, updating service packages, adding accounts, and removing accounts as needed
