QHSE Manager Full Time

Are you a QHSE Manager looking to develop a quality management system where you will play a pivotal role in the success of the company?

On offer is an opportunity to develop your skillset, manage a team and ensure the Quality and Health & Safety is maintained across the facility.

Euro Precision manufactures bespoke turnkey solutions from R&D to design to manufacturing based in Glenrothes. Due to their recent success, they are looking to expand and appoint a QHSE Manager.

The role would suit a QHSE Manager from a manufacturing background.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the contract review process for all orders processed through the business to make sure we can meet all the requirements and delivery time of the project

· Manage the running of the Quality Management System for all quality issues, assisting in the efficient operation of production, to ensure that schedules are met and that the quality of work meets specified standards

· Ensure that processes and procedures meet policy and customer standards

· Review all Purchase orders against route cards before released to production and Responsible for the checking and release of data from the Quality Department

· Maintenance of quality related databases, supplier and spreadsheet approval.

· Conduct internal and external Audits.

· Review all Material certs, NDT Certs, AS9102 FAIRS and coating certs before release

· Hold weekly quality meetings with top management and production to evaluate the system and procedures, then set objectives and tasks to be actioned

· Develop and deploy Product Quality Control Plans for new products (PPAP)

· Implementing improvements to production processes that lead to overall increases in product quality

· Investigating causes of quality problems both internal and external and making sure a corrective and preventive action is put in place

· Ensure that all new staff are inducted into the requirements of the QMS related to their own roles and responsibilities, Provide training as necessary.

· HSE audits and inspections of entire site, including staff and equipment.

· Raise any issues that need addressing with appropriate manager

· Enforce HSE legislation with staff regarding safety in the workplace.

The Role:

  • Further Develop a Quality Management System
  • Managing a team and ensure the QHSE is maintained across the facility
  • Ensure all documentation and budgets are met
  • The role will require you to drive QHSE change within the business implementing, improving and promotion current and new polices

The Candidate:

  • QHSE experience in a manufacturing environment
  • NEBOSH or IOSH qualification
  • Experienced within Quality Control management
  • Looking to progress your career and managerial skills
