This opportunity is within the Customer Success and Training (CS&T) department and plays vital role in improving customer satisfaction and drive usage and adoption. The successful candidate will be providing high level of technical support to internal and external customers. Customer Suc-cess is the at the core of AspenTech?s strategy hence ?Customer First Mindset? is a must to be suc-cessful in this role.

Your Impact

  • Application support- troubleshooting and resolution of product related technical issues reported by customers via telephone, web chat and e-mail
  • Provide technical support for license installation, platform compatibility, token usage and related issues
  • Collaborate with R&D and Product Management to troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues
  • Provide support to Sales, Solution Consultants and Professional services as and when required- Onsite health checks, demos and project related work
  • Participate in alpha/ beta testing of future software releases to help drive improved product quality
  • Deliver product training in either AspenTech public training facilities or on customer site
  • Resolve issues within agreed KPI?s and SLA?s

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or related degree) or relevant experience of working in second or third-line IT support
  • Knowledge of databases (e.g. SQL)
  • Working Knowledge of Windows troubleshooting, virtualization (e.g. VMWare, HYPER-V), TCP/IP and network troubleshooting,
  • Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and File Servers is desirable
  • Basic knowledge of AspenTech products is desirable but not essential
  • A passion for driving adoption and usage of software products and enhance work practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner
