Global Marketing is a key function within DHL CDO (Chief Development Office).

We are offering one exceptional candidate the chance to work as the Global Campaign Development Director, responsible for leading and inspiring Global Marketing's Campaign team to deliver marketing excellence.

Working with other global and local marketing teams you will:

  • convert market research, positioning, buyer and customer insights, industry and product trends into compelling marketing opportunities;

  • collaborate across our global organisations (GCD, GSD, Global Product Teams) to identify and agree marketing priorities to drive business growth and customer satisfaction;

  • identify, prioritise, plan, resource and direct the delivery of Global campaigns.

What are you accountable for achieving as Global Campaign Development Director?

  • Leading the team in designing, planning and delivering Global Campaigns to support our growth and customer satisfaction targets;

  • Role modelling excellence in campaign planning, development, execution, management and measurement;

  • Coordinating with local teams for the activation of global campaigns in their respective regions, acting as an ombudsman for questions on campaign priorities, responsibilities, resources and timing;

  • Serve on the boards of global organizations (e.g. Global Customer Development, Global Sector Development) as a representative of the Global marketing team;

  • Collaborate with Global Marketing Leads, Regional Leads and Communications Leads (CSB, CSI) to establish and activate Flex team (virtual, cross region, cross function) projects;

  • Support global organizations in identifying and nominating resources to support the marketing of global initiatives (e.g. accelerator programs);

  • Develop go-to-market plans for identified accelerator programs, aligning and leveraging support from relevant global and regional teams.

What will you need to be a successful Global Campaign Development Director?

  • Inspirational team leadership skills;

  • Extensive experience of leading Marketing Campaign teams, preferably agency side;

  • Extensive experience of B2B marketing and communications planning;

  • Proven Track record of working within a complex matrix / virtual environment, with Global / Regional cross-cultural team members;

  • Creativity, tenacity, credibility and courage;

  • Knowledge of and experience in the contract logistics business an advantage;

  • Sales or Product Development experience a bonus.
