Responsibilities:
As Associate ? Sales Enablement at Hines, you will report to the Head of Sales Enablement and Project Management and have a close working relationship with the Head of EMEA Capital Markets, the European Capital Markets team and the Head of Marketing Europe. The role is focused on supporting the global capital raising activity of the firm by creating, managing and developing the tools and resources required to drive capital raising and strengthen investor relationships. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with the Head of Sales Enablement and Project Management, based in New York, and the European Capital Markets and Marketing and Corporate Communications teams based in London and Munich; communicate across time zones and maintain a flexible schedule that allows for some after-hours conference calls

  • Lead and project manage the creation of client presentation decks, overseeing all content; manage the review process with relevant stakeholders, including Compliance, and coordinate closely with Corporate Communications on the style and branding of materials

  • Orchestrate the due diligence process for prospective investors, including: coordination with the Due Diligence team on required data room materials, organization of due diligence meetings ensuring representation from the appropriate individuals across the organization, preparation of meeting materials, and addressing any ad hoc investor requests.

  • Coordinate core proprietary events essential to Hines? external presence with institutional investors; prioritize and leverage Central Resources for marketing and events to execute critical activities

  • Ensure Hines? presence at relevant external investor-focused industry conferences and presentations and collaborate with Corporate Communications to ensure Hines is visible at these events

  • Support the raising of Hines? profile with investors by coordinating the information gathering for investor focused awards entries

  • Support the creation of thought leadership and sponsored content; working with Marketing and Corporate Communications, Research, and other stakeholders throughout the firm on the development of this content

  • Demonstrate superior project management skills, liaising with individuals across the organization and adhering to deadlines, frequently managing multiple projects at one time, all in support of capital markets endeavors

  • Display an orientation for details and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements include:

  • Bachelor?s degree in sales, marketing, finance, business or related field from an accredited institution

  • MBA preferred but not required

  • Five or more years? experience working for a large/multi-asset investment firm, with project management or sales enablement experience required; real estate experience is preferred, but not required

  • Experience within the institutional investing industry

  • Ability and confidence to work with a variety of stakeholders to ensure timelines are met and deliverables are executed to the highest level and passion for orchestrating projects and processes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to convey complex financial reporting information in a clear way in our marketing materials ? particularly to communicate the Hines? story and investment proposition to investors

  • Prior experience managing complex projects in a deadline-driven environment
