The role:
The Sales Executive?s main responsibility is to generate new business through conversation and telephony-based sales. The Sales Exec must have outstanding telesales persona and be able to close business through the phone, addressing queries and having strong knowledge of the renewable sector. We service a wide variety of clients across all sectors of industry and your target companies are limited only by your imagination, curiosity and innovative thinking. We seek innovation in our clients and empower it in our team, and we are looking for people to consistently upskill and develop both themselves and the team.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the full sale through telesales including liaising with Field Sales BDM?s.
  • Professionally interact with decision makers across all markets and seniority within SME?s to FTSE100
  • Telesales Based Role, You will be based in our Leeds Office within one of the best buildings in the city.
  • Work closely with all Planet U Energy departments and business units to ensure all necessary steps are taken to deliver to a client accurately and on time
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team, providing guidance and assistance to fellow team members
  • Meetings are generated through your own lead generation; inbound marketing leads and through a dedicated Leeds based telesales function.

Desired experience and skills:

  • Telesales Experience.
  • New Business Development experience, preferably working within energy/insurance/teleco sales.
  • Outstanding communication skills; confident, articulate.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent (not essential if good level of experience).
  • Willingness to go the extra mile for the business.

What we offer in return:

  • Package: £100k 1st year OTE (£27.5k Basic)
  • Location: Leeds City Centre
  • Hours: Standard hours 9am -5pm (flexibility is required)
