The Role

We have fantastic opportunities for experienced Customer Service Advisors to join our vibrant and expanding site in Coventry on behalf of Virgin Media WIFI.

  • Agents need to be able to work around smartphones and tablets and laptops
  • Be able to negotiate a customer to connect to Wi-Fi (good negotiation and diplomacy skills)
  • Deal directly with Travelodge and Premier Inn staff accordingly
  • Working closely with clients
  • Handling general public Wi-Fi queries
  • Understand customer needs and troubles they might face when connecting to the network
  • Good technical background

Start Date – 21st October 2019

Your duties will include (but are not limited to):

- Receiving inbound calls regarding Wi-Fi queries

- Dealing with customer complaints in an efficient manner

- Demonstrating a keen attention to detail when logging tickets

- Working effectively as part of a team

- Adhering to company principles and values and how Virgin Wi-Fi works

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • * Excellent customer service skills
  • * Previous experience in a customer focused environment
  • * Demonstrable experience of working within a structured process
  • * Excellent IT Skills (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • * The ability to work well as part of a team
  • * Educated to GCSE standard (5 x A*-C) or equivalent
  • * Knowledge of regulations relating to Compliance, Data Protection, Anti Money Laundering, Consumer Credit Directive and Consumer Credit Act (desirable)

Job Details

  • Pay – £7.80/£8.21 ph
  • Contract ? Part time & Permanent ( Monday – Friday between the hours of 18.00 – 22.00 or 19.00 – 23.00) Training will also be around this shift pattern.
  • Working Hours ? 20 hours per week
