Job Title: Recovery College NHFT Peer Trainer (Bank)

Job Summary



Recovery College is looking for a part time bank peer trainer who has experience of mental ill health to facilitate training on mental health topics with staff practitioners.



The aim of the peer trainer is to use training to support others who are overcoming mental health challenges in their journey to recovery and wellbeing. The peer trainer will co-produce, design and deliver a range of recovery focussed courses and workshops for service users, their supporters and staff. The role is to work alongside other professionals to co-produce and deliver the courses.



Through sharing wisdom from their own experiences a peer trainer will inspire hope and belief that recovery is possible in others.



(Experience of mental ill health is an essential attribute for this post.)
