NFU Mutual?s National Intermediary Services team provide a facility for our Customers to obtain cover for products or risks that NFU Mutual does not write by placing them in the external insurance market throughout chosen providers.



The Role

As a Sales and Marketing Coordinator, you will need to organise and ensure delivery of agent training on all core NIS products through existing on line channels and manage product communications to support NIS strategy and business objectives.



This is a new position within the business and an exciting time to join our NIS team as you can help shape the role using your prior experience and drive.



Within the role, you will need to:


  • Support the Business Development Manager in delivering the NIS agency development & communications strategy

  • Support and co-ordinate the Business Development Consultant external resource deployment plan

  • Provide regular reports in respect of sales activity and responding to ad hoc requests

  • Collate and monitor agency feedback on Business Development service with the ability to spot trends and make recommendations to the business

  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders

  • Manage, maintain and deliver all relevant marketing collateral

  • Deliver technical support and guidance to the Agency network

About You

To be successful in this role you will have experience of delivering communications to internal & external customers. You'll be able to build effective working relationships and have and experience in delivering integrated campaigns working with a number of teams, ideally gained in within the industry.



It would be desirable to hold the following skills/experience within:


  • Publishing software programs

  • Copywriting across various channels/media outlets

  • Knowledge of D&O, Cyber and PI insurance

As well as the following qualifications:


  • 5 GCSEs at grade C or above including Maths & English

  • CII progression is desirable

Person Specification

  • Experience of delivering communications and development to internal & external customers

  • Experience of building effective relationships within a sales driven environment

  • Good understanding of delivering integrated campaigns working with a number of teams

  • Experience of the general insurance commercial market gained either through an insurance company or broker background

  • Skilled in the use of Word/Excel/PowerPoint

It would be desirable to hold the following skills/experience within:


  • Publishing software programs

  • Copywriting across various channels/media outlets

  • Knowledge of D&O, Cyber and PI insurance

As well as the following qualifications:


  • 5 GCSEs at grade C or above including Maths & English

  • CII progression is desirable
